Kabbalah Center

The Kabbalah Center is a place where students can go regardless or gender, race or religion to study the Zohar and teachings of Kabbalah.

Historically, the teachings of the Kabbalah were thought to be too complex for just anyone to understand as they could easily be misinterpreted without the proper background in Judaism, so the teachings were reserved to only very studied and devout Jewish men who were though to be able to understand.

This modern way of teaching Kabbalah opens up and enlivens the religious experience of anyone who is open to it, and many are thankful for the ability to be able to study Kabbalah in this modern way at Kabbalah Center.

Though the first modern Kabbalah Center was established in New York City in 1965, the centers have branched out to the West Coast and to many centers all over the world. Anyone is welcome to come and study Kabbalah and many centers, over 50 in fact are open and available all over the country and the world. The numerous locations and acceptance of all students makes it very easy to find a center at which to begin studies.

The modern Kabbalah Center believes that all religion is based off of universal wisdoms and that Kabbalah can be studied as a supplementation to any existing religion and not a replacement of it. Studies of astrological forces are taught and incorporated into Kabbalah as astrological forces are thought to effect everything happening in our world and shedding light on how these forces effect us can be important to the student of Kabbalah.
